6th Grade World HIstory
In 6th Grade we learn about World History. We cover Ancient Civilizations. Ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece are covered. We cover Non-Western Civilizations, too. We learn about Ancient India, China and Africa. We also do a Comparative Religion unit. We are currently using a brand new textbook and workbook. Our textbooks are published by the Catholic Textbook Project. We are one of the first Catholic schools in the Chicagoland area to use these textbooks. It offers a Catholic worldview of history while addressing Common Core Standards.
